When the word vacation is mentioned, most people think of leisure and relaxation, but for some, vacation is a time for living on the edge. If you are the latter, and are looking for a serious adrenaline pump, here is a list of five heart-racing, adventure-packed vacation ideas, perfect for any thrill seeker.

Cage diving with Great White Sharks

Get the ultimate Jaws experience by coming face to face with one of the ocean's largest and most feared predators. Feel your heart racing as you get into the water with a Great White shark, and float freely with nothing but a metal cage between the two of you. Cage diving with Great Whites is offered in various locations including Australia, California, and Hawaii.

Ride the worlds steepest roller coaster

Head over to Fuji-Q Highland theme park located in Japan, and ride the worlds steepest roller coaster as recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records. The Takabisha roller coaster scales 140 feet and drops riders at a steep, 121 degrees. This thrilling roller coaster goes 62 mph and includes a variety of twists, turns, and rapid accelerations.

Running of The Bulls

Lace up your shoes and get ready to be chased by charging bulls for half a mile. From July 6th through the 12th, visit Pamplona in Spain, and join in on the San Fermin fiesta. This event includes one of the world’s most dangerous traditions known as The Running of the Bulls. Each year from July 7th to July 12th, people gather on the streets of Calle Santo Domingo and wait for the bulls to be released, and race with the bulls to the bull ring.

Volcano Surfing in Nicaragua

Surfing on water is cool, but take things to the next level and surf down the sides of Cerro Negro, an active volcano found in Leon, Nicaragua. Take the 2388 foot hike up the volcano and then strap your feet onto your wooden surf board and race down the volcanic slope. This is a whole new take on Surfing.

Bungee Jump off of Macau Tower

The Macau Tower, in Macau, China, is 764 feet and is recorded as the highest bungee jump. This tower is the perfect high for adrenaline junkies as it allows bungee jumpers six seconds of free falling and lets them fall 666 feet before being pulled back up. Jump if you dare.
